Professional
Development School
Madison Camelview is partnering with Arizona State University-West
to implement a Professional Development School. Four ASU-West
education majors will work alongside Camelview teachers
and students. They will also complete their student teaching
mentored by Camelview teachers. The goals of the professional
development school are to maximize students’ learning
and achievement through the development and implementation
of exemplary practice; engage in sustained, applied, reflective
inquiry on practice for the purpose of enhancing exemplary
practice and student achievement; engage in meaningful,
ongoing professional development for school and university
faculty, and to prepare effective new teachers.
