Music at Camelview
It is very exciting that the music program in the Madison School District is alive and well. Here at Camelview, we take full advantage of our beautiful music facilities including an entire set of Orff instruments as well as a classroom equipped with the latest technological resources. The students love experimenting in our music centers where they can play each instrument or learn about many different aspects of music on a wide variety of music computer software. Each year, performance opportunities are available for every student at Camelview. The students also are busy learning many concepts of music spelled out in our district Music Curriculum. They learn everything from beginning music reading skills to proper singing technique to major classical works of music to the instruments of the orchestra. We are very proud of our students, and it is important that they have every opportunity to become well-rounded, life-long learners.
 This year, our Second graders will be performing some holiday music at Camelview PTO Holiday Sing-Along on Wednesday, December 7th.
The 2005-2006 All-School
Musical will
be a celebration with Kindergarten through Third Grades, performing
on May 17th and 18th.

Welcome to Mr. McKinley's Music Room
Our
first graders will perform a multicultural concert, at Camelview
PTO Cultural Jambouree
on Friday, November 18th. 
Our Third graders will sing at the Camelview
Open House and Book Fair on Tuesday,
April 25th.
